I'm trying to watch this playoff Hockey game but I keep getting sidetracked by stuff like my coffee table and dustmotes. Is there any way to make this more interesting? Beer, perhaps?
I can watch hockey if there are a few people around for company and I have a couple of beers. Other than that I usually don't watch it.
hockey and beer play well together. But I manage to still be very much interested in hockey without beer, so I really don't understand why you'd be bored by the game!
i imagine it'd be quite a lot like me trying to watch football. i'd need beer, snacks, lots and lots of conversation and an ibuprofen for all the intermittent yelling.
I like to watch Hockey live but not on TV. I don't like Football live but I've been addicted to it on TV my whole life. Now, Curling, there's a friggin sport.
If the Avelanche are playing, I can watch hockey, but other than that it doesn't really interest me. I like playing hockey but watching it is another story. Same with baseball and baskettball....I love playing them but I can't sit through a game uless I'm there live in the atmosphere. But football I can watch all day long
If you were watching Lacrosse you wouldn’t be getting side tracked by coffee tables and dust mites. I am pretty darn Canadian and I hate hockey. Cheers!
1 word: beer! The fights spice it up, and imo international hockey is more fun because it's like a war where you cheer for your country to kick the other country's ass. For example when Canada and Russia are facing each other in the final, more people will tune in because national pride is at stake, and both countries pretty much own hockey so they make for very aggressive and entertaining games. When one country beats the crap out of everyone (like team Canada in womens hockey last winter) it's not even worth watching them beat some crappy team 12-0.
