I'm about to go camping in Colorado, for a month. I need to find a good national forest though that I can go and stay in for about a month, and is sorta close to civilization as well. I'd love to be up in the mountains for a while.

Anyone have any suggestions before I go off researching this on my own?

    Blessings

oooohhh...so many places. There are camping grounds EVERYWHERE!!Try to stick closer to a mountain town...but not a ski area or picking up a loaf of bread will cost you $4.00. Try near Estes Park it is BEAUTIFUL

Summitt County! Arapahoe National Forest. There's a place called Montezuma high up in the mountains, it's beautiful. You can camp for a long time anywhere out here. And you're right near Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne for food and whatnot.
