im 16 and i heard a radio program about impotance about a year ago, at the time i thought oh shit, when did i last get an erection spontaniously and i couldnt remember getting one for ages. Since then my erections have been getting worse and worse and now i cant even maintain an erection and it takes ages to get an erection with assistance. This is really depressing me does anyone know anything about this?? Please say this is just a phase. The thing is everything i read about impotance is about old people. I'm scared i'll never be able to have sex.
It's difficult to tell from just a one-paragraph explanation. But are you sure you're not just freaking yourself out so much that it's affecting your ability to get an erection? I don't know the figures off the top of my head, but I have read several credible articles saying that a large percentage of impotence cases are pyschological. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Just take it easy and enjoy yourself. Try to get the thought that it's a problem out of your head. If some day you end up with multiple ocassions of laying naked with a girl and fooling around and you still have trouble, then you can always get yourself checked by a doctor. Don't be embarassed about it, it's a medical question, and that's all. (And a girl who really likes you will be supportive.) If someday a doctor thinks you have a problem, then there are plenty of solutions around these days. You'd be fine. In the mean time, just try to shake off those thoughts. I'll bet the next time you're kissing some pretty girl you really like, you'll be standing at attention so well that you'll be trying to hide it.
Ummm, kid? Would you please not use "naked_ape" and "impotence" in the same thread? Aside from the fact that I'm obsessed with my image I'm kind of superstitious. Anyway's go see the doctor. worrying about it and not dealing with it will probably only make it worse.
