    I love looking at these. What blows me away is the fact that we are looking back in time millions and millions of years...:eek:

    i remember talking aout space used to make my brain hurt in physics at school - just tooooo big to think about. apparently the human brain cant comprehend anything bigger than our eye's view, which is probably why a lot of people cant imageing the HUUUUGEness of space. but its still veyr purdy, looking at nebulae and things :) even though technically they are falsely coloured after the radio signals are recieved by hubble and things :p i was gutted when i heard that in physics!


    its a bit like that example of how small atome are..... if you took the atoms from 1cm cubed o air (i think - could be 1mm) and made them all the size of a grain of sand, they would cover north america 3 foot deep.

    now that hurt my brain.
