I had recently tried marijuana and got absolutly nothing from it...not even a little buzz. Normaly I would chalk it up to a bad batch but having very minimal experince i wasnt sure. I asked the guy i got it from and another guy who bought some out of the same batch and it took only a meer 3/4 of a normal joint get them both "baked off their asses" to quote them. me and another person had a quater bag and smoked just over half and i got nothing. Has anyone heard of this before....kinda feal like i got jipped lol Ps. sorry about the spelling/grammer
Some people don't get high their first time around... but each brain is unique.. maybe there is an issue with your CB1/CB2 receptors that are not allowing the THC to do it's job
my first time i didn't feel anything untill i stoped trying to feel something, if that makes any sense. ive never heard of thc immunity
Well ill just kinda answer everyone with one post.... this was technicaly my third time smoking it and i got nothing off of it the first two times also, but i had not smoked anything else before then so i figured i wasnt inhaleing right. I have been smoking cigars for almost a year now and im sure I inhaled right. For the first joint i was inhaleing normal but on the second, which was the bigger one, I was inhaling long and hard and still nothing....hmmm it would be my luck that weed does nothing to me lol
So you were smoking it like you smoke cigars? Were you just pulling the smoke into your mouth and blowing it out? Or were you actually inhaling it into your lungs? lol Most people don't inhale cigar smoke. They just hold the smoke in their mouths and then blow it out.
I have friends who don't know how to smoke and it just straight pisses me off. They're always trying to hit my joint but never INHALE the smoke right! It's really simple. Suck smoke into mouth, breathe like you're breathing air, hold it for 5+ seconds.
narcotics detectives are trained not to Inhale.. but smoke as if they are... you better watch who you hang out with..
Hit it so you cough or at least have to hold back a cough. Smoke a fat bowl that way, and no matter the quality, you should be high by the end. If not you may have some unique condition, but odds are you are not inhaling properly and it's not that great weed.
I smoked like 7 or 8 times before I ever felt anything. keep trying and dont lose hope, young stoner! it will be well worth it in the end
I used to know this one guy in school who smoked bob for years, one day we were blazing and I noticed he wasn't inhaling right at all, finally I got him to do it right and within 3 or 4 tokes and a minute or two the guy was laying on the ground green, high for the first time in his life.
This, coughing will ensure that you are actually inhaling properly, you should also feel a minor burning sensation in your lungs from your cilia getting roasted, a tell-tale sign you are on your way to being ripped.
smoking cigarettes or cigars in no way shape or form transfers to the ability to smoke pot. Tobacco and cannabis require two different methods of inhalation, tobacco you are just filling your cheeks with smoke like a squirrel with nuts. Cannabis you gotta pretend you're underwater and your only source of oxygen is the joint/bowl, and actually take a deep breath of it. Second, I have seen countless people smoke for their first/second/third time, get bloodshot chink'd out eyes, get lethargic and giggly, and insist to me "nah man i just dont feel it this stuff doesn't work", when they are clearly intoxicated on THC. It can be a subtle high at first, lots of people lack the self-perception to really understand that their mind has changed, it can take practice to figure out just when exactly are you high.
yes, i smoke cigarettes on occasion. yes, the same premise of me "hitting" both substances is the same: i inhale. with weed of course i take a bigger drag and hold it in longer, but i still inhale both.
I think what he meant, or at least the way I understand it, is that typically cigarettes are inhaled in a shallow manner, while weed is inhaled into the deeper areas of your lungs because of the longer drag most people take.
