I'm so bad at working with pencil D: I really like the subject matter! hahah! I like the texture of his beard, the kind tranquility of their eyes, and the rays of the sun as well as the eye. I've been doodling eyes lately, trying to get the iris and pupil to capture the reflection of light as well as possible while still getting the darker parts of the iris with the lighter parts. I'm so impatient, though, it's my downfall!
