All we have now is these Republican clowns calling themselves "Patriots" getting all mad if an NFL player takes a knee and stuff like that.

Someone tell me what happened to the liberty movement ?

There were plenty of loyalists to The King and British Empire back in 1776.

They had to leave, and go to Canada after 1783. They became: United Empire Loyalists. Yes they brought slaves with them to Canada. it was hoped for that the slaves would invigorate Canadian agriculture.

It didn't happen. Some of these slaves ended up in Serra Leone

Sorry but you have admitted in another thread that you have no objection to slavery as long as it served your interests or at least didn’t adversely affect you.

The problem for me with promoting the idea that - ‘they are all the same’ – so it doesn’t matter who you vote for or if you vote is that in my experience the people who then end up not voting are those on the left, the right wing voters then go out and vote.

Basically you can vote someone in my not voting.

Are you saying you think all politicians are evil? What about people that vote are they evil?
If someone promotes a political viewpoint are they evil?

I mean you promote a political viewpoint on a politics forum - are you evil?

Its a quote from Garcia about politics that I find relevant and it means exactly what it says i imagine
Quote by Jerry Garcia: “Constantly choosing the lesser of two evils is ...”

Voting for the Lesser of Two Evils Still Puts an Evil in Office

    To which i ask

Are you saying you think all politicians are evil? What about people that vote are they evil?
If someone promotes a political viewpoint are they evil?

I mean you promote a political viewpoint on a politics forum - are you evil?

Giving us the origin of the quote doesn't explain why you quoted it?
