    because the idea of being a hippy is an image, and a collective of people with an image is a scene. any scene keeps people from being trully authentic.

    who tries to outhippie who? how do u decide who wins when we cant even agree on what makes a hippie a hippie and most agree hippies are called hippies more by otheres then by selves
    maybe sooner4 or later when your called a hippie enough u either accept it or deny it..
    but your always just what ya are

    i always think of a hippy as one who dont need a weather man to know which way the wind blows. conscious is the more politically correct term i suppose.
