Ok....I know a lot of you may not agree with me on this one.....but I am so sick of people whining and bitching how they hate living in America, fuck America...blah blah blah. While I do not support our current leader, just because you don't like Bush is not a reason to hate on the land you live in. Thousands of people illegally immigrate from Mexico to here just so they can support their families. We live in the land of opportunities that many other countries are not as fortunate to have. At least we have basic human rights! SHIT! People are always complainin about "Oh my privacy is being violated blah blah blah...." Yes, this does suck...but think about people in countries like Darfur....women can't walk down the street for fear of being murdered or raped. If they report it to the authorities they won't believe her. Men commit horrific acts to these women, cut their ears, lips, eyelids off, genital mutilation.....and are not punished for it one bit!!!! Think if that happened in America......that motherfucker would serve life in prison where he would hopefully better himself.

People in Romania who wait 3 hours in a line to pay $50 for a loaf of bread that will feed there family for 5 days.....come on! We at least have welfare and food stamps....though the system is not perfect we try to help those in poverty to an extent. Think of how much worse you could have it! I could go on and on!

So I guess my message is.....instead of complaining about how much you hate America....get off your hypocritical ass and do something positive for the rest of the world who would kill to just to be in your place! You have opportunities to help others who desperately need it! Think about it......

Holy crap! I am a major bush hater. HOWEVER, I do agree that immigrants are given a bad rap about what they have to do to support their families. What do we expect them to do? Every one is entitled to the equal right of earning an honest living to support their families. Yes I am hypocritical in the scense that I live in a nation that is the land of oppurtunity and I don't like it. But, I don't ignore the ways that our economic and social structures have helped the world tremendously. R U a republican?

    America, with all it's faults,
is still one of the greatest places to live
    on this planet.

Or Maybe 12 to 20 million Undocumented Individuals are wrong.

As I have previously stated, not a Bush fan.....I used to consider myself extremely liberal....I'm less liberal now than I once was. I guess this rant was set off because I have recently opened my heart up to global causes and just appreciating the fact that I don't have to live this horrific life people in Africa do. Kids walk miles and miles just to get a bucket of unsanitized water to drink! At least we have good drinking water for the most part and don't have to walk miles for it! See I can't help it I just think of all these things and realize how lucky I am and I can only hope other people will realize many of our daily struggles are small compared to what we have to be thankful for....

I agree. How do you feel about the careless spending of tax dollars for a war we don't even need to be in? Surely it adds to our glamour?

sure i love america but if we dont stop immigration, its gona be a pit hole like all the other countries...we're already debating not having more than 2 kids wouldnt ruin the population. 2 kids! we're becoming china now. and its the immigrants who keep having kids. i seen one illegal mexican with 5 or 6 kids today... this is not home of the free, land of the brave anymore. we have no clue why we're in this war and we're letting illegal people come in like a slut opening her legs. im sorry but every day i dont like this country. i miss the old days where immigrats WERENT taking over american jobs.

I have voiced my opinion of Geo W. and the war he got us into.
I am getting tired of people here calling our young men and women who put on a uniform, murders.
Its real easy to sit in the shadows and fling shit, when you dont even pay your own way.
I dont believe in this war at all, but the kids over there supporting the military, I support 100%.. God bless them..
And may Geo. W. Bush burn in hell.

I'm not. About the only good things I can say about America is that the booze and cigarettes are cheap.

I'm not anti-american, I'm anti-U.S. It's a difference. North america as a land and a ppl could do good by itself without the U.S. regime over it. Make way for anachy.

Critisising what America does is not hating America.

Us loudmouths have been trying to teach the righties that for years. Telling America to stop the torture in Guantanimo is not hating America.

There are some loudmouths that don't get that either.

Anything as complex as America or a person has too many sides to be all bad or all good, but lots of people of all political persuasions see the world through black & white glasses.

America, love it or hate it?
    Neither, there are other options.

Agreed. However I don't think a lot of people can identify the difference!

Lol it's kind of funny I was ready to burn in hippie hell for starting this thread....I still think some of you are taking what I'm saying the wrong way....oh well I said what I feel! I am just encouraging activism instead of complaining.....hopefully some of you can find a cause you feel for and dedicate some of your time to it to help better the world (and America! She's far from perfect.) :)

Hating Bush isn't the same as hating America. Not even close. I love what our country stands for, and I'd love it even more if we did actually implement those values.
For me, hating Bush is the pretty much the same thing as loving America. It's Bush who wants to inverse the American ideal into a tyrannic mess.
