My kids all have colds. In fact, two of them (the boys) are home from school with me today because they both spiked a fever. The school nurse actually called me yesterday because my oldest came down to the office with a 102.3 temp. This morning, my younger son started with a low-grade one, so I kept them both home. They're playing with Legos together and oh my goodness, they're not bickering! They're actually playing quietly and not trying to wrestle one another all over the floor! That's one positive thing about them being under the weather, they will actually play without roughhousing.

 

My wife and son already had this last week. Its the one good thing about being laid off this year, this is the only time he's been sick so far. No day care, no diseases.

 

I had a cold earlier this week, my husband still has one, and my daughter has been fighting one for a week, but without a fever. At least yet.

My kids all go to the elementary school and it seems like almost everybody is sick there right now. Before my kids went to school, they were rarely ever sick because they were always home with me, no daycare or anything either.

 

I'd love to just keep things this way and home school when the time comes. But thats 3 years off, and who knows what state this country will be in that amount of time.

 

Not cool, my dad cam home and beat the shit out of me and my mom. I don't find it funny at all.
