I can't really paint pictures of people or landscapes but I like to make painting of swirls and shapes, etc. And someone told me that's not art!
I think some pictures with swirls and shapes are pretty!!! Leave that jackass to him/her self.... Anything that has a creative background/story/visual display is art!
Art is whatever you want it to be. Look at those "modern art sculptures" which are pieces of scrap metal welded together. If you can call that garbage (literally) art, then swirls and shapes certainly is.
