[With emotion.] Would you ever consider "donating" eggs or sperm for compensation? Apparently they give egg "donors" $7000+. Not bad, right?
The money you get for donation depends on where you live, your health, and things of that sort. Being that I live in KY, the most I've ever found to receive is $4000. My cousin who lives in California can make upwards of $6000. I've considered it, gotten an application for the process and everything, but I just couldn't do it. I'm too attached to my eggs, I'd always want to know what came out of my donation, was there a kid? I'd want to know the child.
I figure since I'm not using them, I might as well let someone else have a chance at parenthood. Plus I've got good genes.
I don't think I would. You only have a limited supply, what if you want to have kids later and only defective eggs are left and you're screwed? I don't like the idea of my genes being out there in the public arena either.. I'm protective over my DNA.
I've had friends who were adopted. I don't believe DNA makes a family and I think pregnancy is gross.
There are laws in Australia that dictate that people born from a sperm or ovum donation are allowed to know the identity of their biological parent once they reach the age of 18. I couldn't.
that's only in one state - Victoria. and when they first implemented the rule suddenly donations dropped by half or something. ha.
Yes, you are. But, that's cool. The hot girls club that notices mistakes. I wonder when my name is going to show up in her sig. It better be spelled right, too.
Ooh yeah we have a club. I'm kinda glad that people are aware I have the ability to give neg rep... Although only once on a spammer noob. :cheers2:
