With ebay, you either really luck out and get a steal, or you overpay big time. Well, ususally. Have you tried making any of your own? I've been making a lot of my clothes since I was a kid, and I didn't have a sewing machine until about two months ago. :) It's fun to sew by hand. It makes you look even cooler. It does take a while, though. But patience is a virtue! :D

i prefer the term "money challenged" instead of "poor", 'cause i'm sure that you're probably wealthy in many other ways.

i think alot of mamas on here do ebay and i think it's a pretty good way to make some money. but having feedback helps. also check out www.sbauction.com i believe you don't have to pay to list there like on ebay u pay even if u don't get bids. good luck mama.

I do make my own... selling them is sometimes the problem. I live in a really small town.

Ebay is OK, if you have alot of good feedback it really helps. When you start out you might have to let go of somethings for super low to get people interested. The best thing you could do is advertise that you have an auction up and give folks a link to go to it. Do some trades with other stitchin/beading mamas, get your stuff out there! :)

i sold some stuff on ebay. the good thing is, you can put a reserve on your stuff. that way if people bid below the price you want you don't sell it.

go on and look at other similair stuff, check how many bids it has, close to finishing time and how much cash they are going to get for it.

Definitely give it a shot. Try listing just one or two items first. Take a good picture. The key is all in the title. If the 2 items don't sell, it's only going to cost $1.40. Go for it..
