Im not afraid to admit this...

Lately, in the last few months ive been rocking the stanky ass booty dreads...

Not like super stank or anything, but i have only been washing them once every like 9 to 10 days orso. I have just not wanted to get them wet lately much for some reason.

I have been quite the stereotypical lazy hippe as of late, it feels nice for a change..... Although other people ive been around by the 9th or 10th day of not washing disagree...lol

 

That's interesting because I wash mine every 10 days or so ad have no problems... Well. I say problems, I'm curretly experiencing greasy scalp issues by day 5. Odd because Its suddely started in the last 2 months.

 

9-10 days sounds like nothing really....nothing worth really saying much about anyway Sorry!

It is when ive been sweating hard every day, My dreads have been getting absolutely drenched with sweat for at least 3 hours a day.. Trust me, by day 9 or 10 they stank it up a bit....lol

um....just the vitals...lol

 

Lucky the internet doesn't send smells yet then Haha I wonder what this hippy forum place would smell like! Hahaha

Ive had like 10 random people comment on how stank they were in the last week alone riding the light-rail around town...haha

ACV is great stuff indeed NP.... But ive been diggin them all stanky lately, for the shock value of it all. Its been intresting to see how diffrent people react to them all stanky..

 

I washed mine for the first time in a couple months today (because I put dye in) all I do is rinse them with really hot water

Edit: Mine don't stink either in fact I can't get them to hold a scent

 

mine don't hold a scent too much either, i can go a few months without washing

 

You ladies are lucky indeed....If i went that long without water hitting my dreads, they would be naming new microbes after me..

 

you can't even smell the dye after smell in my hair I wish it would hold the scent of my honey suckle spray it smells so lovely (and I hate flowery smells)

 

Those of you who say your hair doesn't stink, are you letting others smell you and let you know or are you going based on what you smell? Sometimes if you or something smells you get used to it not knowing it stinks anymore, even the people around you. So maybe you really do smell

 

yeah I constantly get people to smell my hair because I'm afraid of smelling really bad

I am so random when I wash my head. I usually go no less than 2 weeks, most of the time 3 and mine never smell.

 

Thats probably not good for everyone with dreads.... Theyre gonna think all dreads stink!

Id hate to go that long and sweat all the time. Your bed would get all dirty and stuff... at least wash em with water.

 

I suppose you are right... I probably should do that now that summer has arrived..
