Because I would like to talk to one, preferably a female. I'm writing a novel and one of the main characters is a young teenage girl who runs away from home to escape sexual abuse by her mother's lover. When I started writing she was just gonna be a regular teenage runaway, but I have now decided to make her a Goth so as to give her character more attitude and more color ... Yeah, I know Goth's wear black but black is a color too! I always research my characters very thoroughly so I need to know everthing there is to know about Goths ... ie how they dress, how they talk, why they are Goths, makeup, piercings, music preference, I mean like everything. I have visited several Goth sites on the Internet but I am afraid that there is a big difference between reading about Goths and getting it straight from the Goth's mouth so to speak. In return all I can offer is my sincere appreciation and perhaps a mention in the novel if and when it is published. If you can help me I would really appreciate it if you would message me.
