I'm going to see Tom Petty tonight!

Jerry is so lucky, I was thinking of that all night lastnight. I had a great time in spite of the thought Jerry's previous luck.

It was weird though, the lightshow was so substandard. I'm not one to complain, and I knew before hand but I guess I've been spoiled by the likes of The Who and Pink Floyd in the past.

Did I mention that I gave about 500 peopl high5's after the concert. It was cool.

yeah it was awesome.

He played every fucking single hit he had, he did an encore and he seemed pleased with the crowd response. The centre was packed to the teets and the crowd was weirdly yuppy/bikerish ... safe crowd lol.

I even got past the .eriod part and enjoyed the entire night.

I was really f'ed up.

 

What did he open with???

Steve Winwood opened for him and they did a few songs in the middle together like Dear Mr Fantasy.

Laid back but solid tunes.

I listen to his show on Thursdays on XM when they play non-stop Tom Petty show.

I dont think so, my head was basically between their thighs the way we were seated.

 

MMM, unfortunate. The fart would have deflected from the back of the seat and been expelled through the opening between the thighs directly towards your head. If they were eating nachos then I am surprised you got out of there still alive.

I would have threatened to shove something up their asses.....but that's just me.

When I went a guy kept kicking the back of my seat that in turn kept hitting my legs. It pissed me off so bad that I stood up the entire concert. haha I didn't leave my seat until the show was over. Poor guy had to watch my ass or stand up.

 

I think I am going to be sick
