I've already taken my girlfriends' parents out to dinner to ask traditionally for their blessing. I'm going to pop the question tomorrow night at her place. I'm going to be there before she gets home from work, set up candles leading to her room, the room will have a lot of candles in it, and when she walks in, I'm gonna be ready and ask. I don't have the actual ring yet, just the stone in a white gold setting on a pendant. The diamond was on her great aunt's engagement ring, and when it was given to her mom, she made it into a pendant. Now, I'm going to give it to her wrapped around the neck of a small teddy bear that has a flowery easter looking flower thing in its arms. Then we'll later pick out a ring and possibly a new setting. I think she's really going to be surprised and like it. I know for a fact that she'll say yes without hesitation. I'm on cloud 9 already, and it's only getting better. We've been going out for a year and seven months, and we have a such a strong relationship. I wish everyone the same happiness.
