What happened to this forum?

 

the RC scene has changed...i've personally been on here less, and spending more time on my art and music...

all the attention the RC scene has gotten has made it all seem much more sketchy, and the banner adds overtly advertising RC sales make me wonder if how much time the DEA spends reading these posts.

i still talk to a lot of my friends on here, just don't post much :/

I'm saying that for months and months...everybody stop attracting attention, go underground and everything will be much better again.

Also I bet banner adds for RC's caused bunch of shit.

by a certian time we'll be telling our grandkids bedtimes stories about the wonders we used to have with the RC scene... guess we'll all be going back to the oldschool method of scoring on the street corner method within a certain amount of time.

 

It sucks most of the regulars left and a bunch of new users that to me scream fake accounts joined. About a year ago this site was awesome, now.......it just seems like its dead. This actually makes me sad

it used to be less than $20 when it was legal in the u.k. I think you can find it cheaper than $50 still.

 

Nah you youngins forget about operation web tryp. Besides the jwh products and cathinones the rc companies are underground today compared to what it used to be like.

 

Yep.. i remember back before April & co. got busted all you had to do was google "2c-i vendor" and hundreds of results would be at you fingertips... scams were few & far between back then and $80/g for 2c-e was considered expensive... the biggest worry was hoping your parents didn't get to the mail before you did the good old days...

GB, were you involved in the scene pre-web tryp?

i didn't try 2ce (my first RC) til Nov. '08
but i was reading about this stuff for a couple years prior.

 

You guys should see the advertisements in the old Entheogen Reviews from about the early 1990's through about 2000 . . . Those were the halcyon days of RC's if the ads in that low-circulation publication were any indication.

 

I ordered 2ce in the spring for my first time the same year as web tryp, I scanned those sites pretty much for a whole year before ordering tho.

 

Lulz my friends referred to 2ce as 'the digits' back then.

Nope, first trip with it was summer of 04 out camping in Northern California. My friend I went with took a half 1/8 of shrooms and 1 microdot. Pretty amazing experience for both of us. The nausea of course got to me slightly towards the end, I also remember thinking I somehow underdosed (took 20 mgs) because of how long the onset took to come on. We dosed at about 4 pm so it was beautiful in the late afternoon seeing the sun pierce in between the trees in the forest. That was also the day he became a Grateful Dead fan. I had a portable stereo playing Grateful Dead's greatest hits walking back to the tents and he says "Now I understand why people like this shit."

 

pretty much that. A market mostly of serious, respected psychedellic compounds got flooded with kandy and it rotted tha tooth.
