If its like the Magic Concoction, after you saturate your hair/scalp in it, wrap you dreads up in a towel for half an hour- an hour before rinsing

are you sure yoru dreads aren't mildewed inside? if so, the acv won't help.

Didn't find it too helpful for cleaning when I did it. And the ACV probably smells worse than your dreads do now. I'd do this instead : http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136945 Made much more of a difference for me! Good luck either way though.

well it worked prett well I think...

everybody says they smell better and supposedly after she rinsed out the acv the water soming out was really nasty so I'm assuming that means they're spik n span now!

we dr bronnered them first, then put the acv all over, worked it into each dread and all over my scalp then left it in for 15 minutes then rinsed it all out, then dr bronnered again and now they're niiiiice and clean

in your sig pic, you really remind me of someone i know and used to really care for. he is incredibly sexy and so are you :)

inavacuum, glad acv worked for you, i havnt tried it yet, but i do reccomend the concoction, it rules.
i use vinegar to clean pretty much every surface in my house and it workes great on mildew and to kill odors so it makes sense it would work in your dreadies :)
