wow....where do i begin here?? I was recently going out with this boy by the name of Jake but then I found out that my friend Mel has liked me since who knows when..its that whole "we're such good friends we dont know if we should risk it or not" deal. So my friends talked me into breaking things off with Jake to finally give Mel a try. For the past two days I have been enthrawled with thoughts of Jake - bad thoughts..I can't get him out of my head. It's mostly sexual stuff - no one has ever made me want to cheat on someone..especially someone i deeply care about like Mel but I keep picturing Jake and I doing stuff. I dont think I'm over him, if I dont get this out of my system I think ill probably go crazy. Should I tell jake how i feel or just let it blow over? I'm afraid I should have let me and jake's course finish instead of just cutting it off...my other option is to tell mel that its too soon and we should lay low for a week but I dont think I'm strong enough to do that!! please help!

    You're 15! Of course you're a walking hormone!!

Anyway, it's natural for someone of your age to be confused about what you want. You don't have enough relationship experience to know what to do in one! Being a teenager is all about figuring out who you are and what you want. It is my experience that teenagers switch boyfriends and girlfriends faster than they can tie their shoes! The main thing to remember is communication, honesty, and that there is another person's feelings to consider.

basically it serves you right for splitting up with someone because your friends told you to - either grow a spine and do what you want to do, or end up being unhappy forever...

Why did you listen to your friends? Why were they telling you what to do? You are your own person with your own feelings that you feel, not your friends.
My advice would be to stop listening to your friends and start listening to your heart.
I would take a step back from all of it and clear your head..
    Good luck..
