I'm a guy who is attracted to butch lesbians.

I'm male and heterosexual, but I find myself attracted to boyly girls. I find straight or bi women attractive, but on more than one occassion, I've been propositioned and hooked up with a butch lesbian. I'm not mister machismo, but I'm definitely not effeminate either. One of these girls even wanted to have a serious relationship with me on the down low. Again, I am not in the least sexually attracted to men (and yes I've explored the possibility thorougly and I'm 100% certain that I'm not gay or even bi), but I am sexually attracted to butch lesbians and occassionally (well twice) they have found me attractive. What is this about? And to any boyly girls on here who poopoo the notion - I'm deadly serious.

Yeah, I considered that - but thing is, I've never had the audacity to approach. I mean, I figure it would be pretty damn arrogant for me to assume that because it happened twice that I have some magical-butch-lesbian-attracting-power. I have a pretty good idea what the reaction would be. So in other words, I don't go around trying to hook up with boyly girls. It just seems kind of futile to try - I'm not going to lie and say I haven't tried to befriend one before - with the hopes that something might progress - in fact that's exactly how it happened the first time - only I had no intentions in that situation - it just progressed naturally.

 

Yeah, I see yoru point. I guess I'm suffering from a too rigid view of sexuality from the start. Mentally I'm well aware of the malleability of sexuality, but I guess emotionally I've got a bad habit of wanting to fit it into a neat little box.

Somewhat pendantic and maybe waffling on. But do want to point out perspective. OP basically started a thread, I'm attracted to guyish girls, is there anything closet homo about that? And your response is, na your a guy she's a girl, thats the way its supposed to be.

He's worried being attracted to guyish girls and what you said sounds like, nah you should be attracted to girls thats normal - thus probably reinforcing that fear even though that wasnt your original intention.

Then you go on to say you dont know what I'm talking about, but then go on to correct exactly what I was talking about - hence passive agressive.

Again, I'm waffling on, and dont mean to be an anal retentive so and so. But none of that got interpreted the way I think you wanted it too

Or another way, to illustrate, If I give the homo version, nah if your attracted to butch, you should be with a he, thats the way its supposed to be - what does it end up sounding like? To both you and / or our furiously heterosexual OP

Okay, I think "furiously heterosexual" is a bit strong. The only reason I mentioned tt in the first place was because I wanted to make it clear that I've considered and taken a long look at where I feel I'm at on the the homo - hetero spectrum of sexuality and I'm definitely on the hetero side of the spectrum. If I was gay, I'd be fine with that. If I was bi, I'd be fine with that - it's not a concern - but if someone told me that my attraction to butch women was repressed homosexuality I'd have to disagree. I'm not attracted to men, but I am attracted to butch lesbians - I don't associate them with men or maleness at all - it's like a completely different thing to me - almost like a different gender to me - if that makes any sense.

 

Makes perfect sense. Third and Fourth Gender is probably a better description, theres just about always somekind of androgyny in there, whether its appearance, temperament or libido

In the end you could just be attracted to girls likely to ride rodeo in the bedroom or arent all clingy and dependant. Doesnt have to have anything to do with anything else

 

That`s exactly where my attraction to tomboyish girls stems from.

However, I choose to describe the kind (one kind of many) of chick I like as tomboyish. Add to that, my bisexual fantasy, both in a partner and (differently from OP) in myself and...

I'm into tomboys and AG's too. I understand your curiosity about the issue. Have you always had this attraction or did you just begin to look in their direction?

I have have dated bi women and straight tomboys. It was totally new when a lesbian wanted a serious relationship with me.

I feel that sexuality is part of our growth. Our desires and attractions also may change.Bi-girls turn full lesbian, or a lesbian and just want to have sex with a dude just for pleasure etc.The diversity of the sexual spectrum is amazing!
