Im 16 and I still wear diapers to bed

Ive had a bedwetting problem ever since I was a little kid. It stopped when I was 14 but it just started again 2 months ago. Well I got sick of all the wet sheets so we bought Depends. Even with a diaper I cant keep my bed dry, it leaked. Theres my secret.

 

Common problem. Go and see your doctor, you may have a type of bladder weakness that could be fixed, or they may refer you to a therapist if this is psychological

 

Buy some rubber pants to put over the diapers at night. But someone said go see a doctor. Great Advice.

 

Yea I have an appointment with a uroligist the 29th. Ive been to one before and they never really helped me out with the bedwetting, they just gave me medicine that I didnt wanna take. And I wouldnt really wanna sleep in rubber pants,thatd be really uncomfortable. But I do have like hospital bed pads, so its not too bad if my diapers leak.

Don't worry! You're not alone. My Best buddy wet the bed til he was 15 and still had accidents after that... man, it's not cool but eventually you get over it. I don't know what happened with him, but something just changed and now he can have all the spontaneous sleepovers he wants.

The problems had me really bummed out lately. I've been wet 4 nights in a row, which is more than usual. Also, my mom's been getting a little annoyed about the bedwetting so it's been stressful. It's just annoying because nothing seems to help me stay dry. I stop drinking at 7 pretty much which really, really sucks and I make sure to use the bathroom before bed. I even avoid caffeine cause it's a diuretic, but none of this has helped.
I'm glad everyones actually cool about it though.

To be honest I was surprised this was in confessions and not just in the general health section, Ive heard of loads of people having the problem and theres nothing shameful about it or anything. I mean it must suck. But I hope the doc gets the the bottom of it soon for you...they should be able to do something at least

 

i've known several people with this problem, two of my brothers being among them. it's not that unusual, just not spoken of much. btw, as a woman who's had a couple babies, i totally feel your pain. remember, it's just biology and chemistry, really, not an indictment of your character.

in fact, even before having my kids, i would occaisionally get that dream where i thought i'd gotten up to go pee on the pot, only to wake up to a weird warm feeling and wet sheets.

hey man, your cool with me even, if you do piss your bed. i hope you can find help and never piss your bed again.
at fifty-two i still have wet dreams. at times, when i get so depressed that i don't jerk-off enough or, have enough sex, i'll come in my sleep. there are people who will joke about having wet dreams at my age like, "some people" here joke about you pissing the bed at your age.

Hhaha, thats funny because i have the same dreams when i need to pee. Except in my dream, when i get to the bathroom, i just cant go, which when i wake up, i find is a very good thing

 

I had this problem unti i was 12 im 15 now but i know your pain dude its so embarrasing and ive even done it at my friends house at a sleep over but i blamed it on the dog good thing i was sleeping on the floor !

Nobody knows about this though except for my family.
but once i hit puberty i stopped doing it.

I dont get why some people have to make fun of me for it. Its not like I can control it, its only because I sleep so deeply. My sister used to tease me a lot but she finally grew up and stopped teasing me. Its like some kids have to wear glasses for medical reasons, I have to wear diapers for medical reasons. Its not too different.

Anyway the doctors appointment is in 4 days, I'm really hoping it helps.
