The real question should be "if your friend breaks your piece should you slap them upside the head?".
me, my brother and my x was smoking out of his pipe and like he dropped it and it almost shattered... my brother was pissed but was like your lucky it didnt break. i dont wana know what he would have done to him.
if somone doesnt replace somthing of yours they broke, it's pathetic theres no other way to put it some of you have some pretty shitty friends it sounds like lol
Isn't this the respectable thing to do in any occasion where someone's property is damaged? I know glass can break easily but this is no different than if I let you drive my car and you end up totaling it. The honest thing to do is to compensate them fairly or exactly replace what was destroyed.
if I break something I will man up and pay for it, I did that with matts slide, I felt so bad for breaking it, I thought he was going to be pissed, he was nice about it
My friend has this Marijuana Bible of Etiquette, and what the good book says is "pieces break, it happens. Your friend should not be obligated to buy you a piece, but should be able to chip in if he wants to." My friend broke my prettiest bowl. It wasn't a very good hitter, so I wasn't too upset, but he offered to drive me to Ohio to pick up a new piece, when I get the money. Sounds good to me.
