.. that you know you have the skills, ability, experience, and drive for, but that might make you seem hypocritial to others given your political/philosophic/economic stanse on many current issues, would you take it?

That's a great start man. I'd take it if I were you. The business world is a big political game anyway, might as well play.

Anyone who lives their life not being a hypocrite will die broke and lonely by the time their 28.

hypocrisy is the essential element of us having any passion and dreams at all. Otherwise we'd be so realistic that we'd kill ourselves.

Go for the job if you want to. It's no less corporate then selling people videos.

according to this i must several years in the grave. hypocracy by any other name equals dishonesty. compassions compells the altruist not to condem his fellow beings outright for dealing how they can with the coersion that surrounds them. that much i will grant.

and i can't say i've never done it or never will. but i can't say as i was ever happy living with myself doing so either.

that's the reall nitty gritty trade off. "let he who is without flaw cast the first stone" certainly.

but selling out IS america's core value, and it is why, reguardless of idiology or belief, it has policies, forign and domestic, that are inexorably undermining our worlds ability to support the continued existence of our species and the very gratifications of our own individual existences.

priorities can never be taken for granted, they all, every last one you actualy live by, contribute to creating motivations, that create the policies, that create the conditions you have to walk, ride and drive through, however much your nest and your place of work may appear superficialy isolated from them, every day of each and every one of our individual lives.

do i want to die in a ditch with a clear conscounse? yes i do.

i can't make that decision for anyone else.
but i can decide what kind of world i'd rather be living in, even if i had to sleep under a bridge in order to do so.

occupations that do not undermine the kind of world you'd rather be living in take some looking for, but they can be found. relative poverty is part of the trade off, whether a clear conscounse is worth that tradeoff is up to the individual. but your consciounse could very well be what creates the conditions you will experience in some other live, and absolutely influence how you experience those that exist in this one.

if you can't do anything that won't do violence to your conscounce, save like hell for as long as you can stand it, then get the hell out of that line of work as soon as your savings and socialy consiouse investments will enable you to.

if you can. if you can keep from become so accustome to doing so that you forget to immagine anything else is possible.

forcing people into the possition of this very tradeoff is precisely the very core of the harmfullness of the circular illogic of little green pieces of paper.

all of the rest of the harm that flows from it, this is at the core of.
and there is harm. global warming, wars, prejudice and hatered, loss of civil liberties, entrenched and unresponsive corruption in governments that pay lip service to freedom and representing the will of the governed, all of it.

Who cares what others percieve as hypocritical? Their not going to throw you sixteen thousand dollars at the end of the year for doing what they think is acceptable.

Well is it 30k or 90k? There is a huge difference.

But I can see your point, Im waiting for the day the usa falls apart but at the same time pull over 1500 a week and am building two houses of my own to resell to some sorry fucks who think our system is so fair and just.

So I say use the system as the system uses us, Good luck!

I looked at the site of which you posted the link to and looked at several jobs and positions and the figures are not even close to the real world.

Has anyone else looked at the site and the job they have vs the pay scale as described by the gov?

They fail to mention that when its all said and done about 35 percent will go back to the system in one form or another unless you say (cough cough) fuck the system.

Normally, I would disagree with anything themnax would say because frankly, Furcadians make my skin crawl.

But seriously, folks... compromising your principles for $$ makes you a whore.

Want to be a whore? Take the job, by all means. Suck enough dick and you'll feel good about it.

And as a footnote, I am a HUD contractor. I make a meager living making sure people who don't have a pot to piss in have a warm, dry, pleasant place to live. So no, I have no regrets. Good luck no matter what you choose.

What does that matter? I get the same rate when I frame a hud house vs a 5000 sq ft house.

Here a hud house can be framed in a week and when finished sells for 90k t0 115k.

    So whats the point here?
