I actually gave my Mother a bad shock when I was about 2 or so. The kitchen had these counters that had metal wrapped around the edge of the counter. Mom was washing dishes and I was in a high chair across the room. For some reason I reached a wooden handle kitchen knife on the counter and I stuck the blade in the plug in socket and the current went around the counter to where Mom was doing dishes. She was able to pull away but I probably did not handle a knife until I was much older. I did not get any shock because of the handle on the knife.
