I just discovered this. This is very scary. I can barely believe it's real. This campaign makes it seem like there are thousands of fucking terrorist cells operating in every possible municipality in the states. Does anyone think that there's maybe, possibly, kinda something a little disturbing about sending these type of messages out into the public?

Didnt look at it but in response to your comment, the government needs you to be scared. It justifies the need for the government and the need to spend billions on defense

Is it true that they are placing DHS screens with this message in American Wal-Marts? That would be very disturbing.

I found this on Walmarts site: http://www.walmartstores.com/pressroom/news/10493.aspx

I suppose it is appropriate for the DHS to be teaming up with one the world's corporate megapowers; after all, they are part of the same corrupt system. Still though if I went to a Walmart and saw a message like this playing I would think I was loosing my brains. It would be absurd if it weren't so disturbing.

Hmmmm...wasn't there country or two who encouraged their citizens to spy on one another for the sake of "national security"? no, I must be imagining things again...

But I see something scary every time I'm near a Walmart... They can't arrest all those shoppers, can they?

Of course not, only if you are a terrorist or a criminal. Everyone else has no reason to worry :):):)

It is very Orwellian stuff. The goal is to make everyone hypersensitive to the non-existent threat of terrorism, so they are accepting of the loss of freedoms and liberties, and view everyone, including their neighbor, as a potential terrorist. To keep the public easily manipulated and going along with what the powers in control want, they need to be constantly instilled with fear.

I took this picture of a "See Something, Say Something" billboard not far from where I live back in September, which I would drive by every night on the way to work. It was so right out of 1984 that I had to snap a picture of it. It looked especially creepy at night, looming over the expressway.

Heh heh! You should call that 1-866 number and report that billboard as something that really made you feel uneasy and suspicious of whoever put it up.
