I came across Regular Show recently, and its honestly one of the best cartoons ever. Its every bit as good as all the cartoons I really liked as a kid (Rocko's Modern Life, Ahhhhh Real Monsters, Invader Zim, etc). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZZuOliSWvY"]Regular Show More Smarter - YouTube Here's one of my favorite episodes, "More Smarter" The show stars a 23 year old Blue Jay and Raccoon that work as grounds keepers for a park. They constantly find their selves running into esoteric trouble, getting sucked into alternate dimensions and into their own psyches, etc. Anyway, enjoy the youtube link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HovMzMcUgPw"]Regular Show UNAIRED Pilot - YouTube Being that this is the pilot, its probably a better introduction to the show's premise.
This show is my life. My little brother told me about it a couple of months ago and now I spend a good chunk of my life quoting this show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofvb8XuhPes"]Benson's Hissy Fit - YouTube
I love the Regular Show! I was about to create my own thread, but glad to see I'm not alone. The creator JG Quintel has actually done his own share of mind expansion. Check out this short he made a few years before Regular Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y894QNtX0VA"]2 in the AM PM - YouTube And I don't mean to be a spoiler, but this is one of my favourite moments from the show. It's from the episode "Weekend at Benson's". Definitely an accurate depiction of a psychedelic trip. Yes, the clip below actually aired on the regular Cartoon Network block: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNHP5Z7RZcA"]The Mississippi Queen - YouTube I highly recommend the show "Adventure Time" as well, which airs back-to-back with "Regular Show" on Cartoon Network. There's actually an episode where the character Finn references DMT by name. But don't worry. I do actually love these shows for the plot, the characters, the humor, and everything else. It's just fun to see these references pop up when you'd least expect them. It's like they're trying to free kids' minds.
