This is purely guesswork mind you but; Tastes can sometimes change when something better comes along :2thumbsup: Hotwater
To be fair, I like all kinds of music from virtually all periods. Also to be fair, the 80s were quite a diverse time for music, and there is a lot that came out during that decade that doesn't even sound of its time. Some of the stuff put out in the 80s harked back to 60's psychedelia, while some was much more forward thinking. Unfortunately, "80's music" is a bit of a cliche, since most people think of it in terms of top 40 hits and compilation albums. I am sure there is some music put out in the 80s that you would like if you actually heard it. Most people haven't even heard some of the best music that came out during the 80s because it hasn't gotten widespread radio play.
Had to? Like, a life or death situation? Probably rat. I guess. But then I'd have an affair with rollingalong.
Well, thanks for the well thought out response, but I was jk. Some of the best people ever like music produced in the 80s.
Sure, but it doesn't change it that the 80's were (perhaps due to their clueless experimental urges) quite a deep low musicwise compared to other decades :2thumbsup: :mickey: I'm all for diversity and experimenting naturally but if it turns out to sound like most experimental 80's stuff (like new wave, pop synth etc.) yeah thanks but no thanks! :sunny:
I've been consistently declaring the 80's as the anus of music history for over a decade but yes, I would feel great to share that with a nice lady who sees it just like that
