if you could live in any type of home, and money was no object, what would it be?

i'd want a home out in the middle of nowhere. in the woods. mountains would be cool, too, but not necessary.

i'd want either something like a scaled down ancient palace/temple complex or something, like maybe minoan styled or greek or something....

or else like a japanese farmhouse or something.

both choices kick ass

 

a cobhouse/yurt/submarine/treehouse some wheres far from civilization

not just cob, but, green sustainable building methods that free me to be artistic.

 

sprawling cabin in the woods with a huuge kitchen.

 

A desert igloo.

 

I would want a cabin in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by a waterfall and rivers and streams. The whole idea of the tranquility of such a setting is what gets me.

 

a 2000 sq ft house
and a 4000 sq ft shop and I would be happy for ever well maybe.

i saw it on mtv cribs and i want to live there so badly

there was a really cool appartment i stayed at in prague i'd love to live in
and actually i'd love travelling and staying in random places, that's where i'd want to live

An old, stoney-wall cottage with lots of original rustic features like beams in the ceiling, with a fireplace, a big kitchen and a big private garden with lots of flowers and a vegetable patch. Located in some cute little village, maybe in Cornwall, and by the sea.

 

I have always said,If money were no object I would want a few little different house in different locations. I can't say I understand big lofty mcmansions. I like little 2/3 bedroom places..yanno, where our stupid friends won't be expecting to stay in some guest room or something.

A cute little beach house /bungalow
A small cabin in the wilderness somewhere with lots of snow -mountain view
A nice little Apt high in a big city.

I would build an energy efficient home in the side of a hill for seasonal insulation with windows facing south.
I'd put windmills on the roof and solar panels....
