And why?

For me, it would be Nietzsche. His mind was so sexy. Intelligence is hot, just as important as chemistry/looks, in my opinion. He seemed like such a deep, abstract thinker. His moustache would have to go, though.

Mark Twain would probably be the most fun out of the few I thought about when I saw this thread. You just know he would keep you laughing and would want an adventure rather than a typical date. Plus he was kind of hot when he was young

 

I bet Ernest Hemingway knew how to show a woman a good time. He isn't my be all, end all, but one of the first who comes to mind. We could go rambling around the wild countryside before sitting down to a hearty meal and good wine at some charming European cafe.

Mark Twain/ Samuel Clemens would be at the forefront because of how he used humor to show human behavior. Thomas Jefferson because of how his intellect predicted it.

 

Cleopatra was meant to be a complete bulldog scientists suggest now, she wasn't particularly attractive and she was most likely black too, not bronze Egyptian. She would have had very short hair and only looked respectable once adorning her priceless garments.

I'd probably go for a date with William Wallace I think, or no, not even a known person. Just some field Viking, we go for Schwein und bier he will have long dusty blonde hair, well toned but not particularly attractive, but sharp facial features of the Norse.

I quite think he'd like to have a meal with a woman of my calibre.

Well now that he's retired he's a part of history so I'm gonna go out on date with Jeff Gordon on the conition he brings his gorgeous Scandinavian Super Model wife. I don't mind if he gets called into work.

 

Pete mentioned if he were gay...If I were gay, I can't think of any ''historical'' women who were openly gay/bi.
