if this means something to you, what can I replace the scuttlemutt with?

I'm going to throw all of the cards images (and some of their art at 800x600) into my photobucket so browsing cards can be easily browsed

also, most of the cards are good for most formats

 

I'm an idiot, I did the math wrong, how frustrating.

but, I can do better with mercy killing

it's number of creatures = 1/1 counters, not total power

but, I can make it be the latter with the proper combo, I know I have cards that can make my total power amidst all monsters into total number of token creatures.

and, say I get 63+ say 7 from verdant force

I have a 70/70 altar golem, mercy killing

70 1/1 elf tokens

140 token creatures total

rhys the redeemed, 240

devour, and I have a 484/484 predator dragon, ready to own shit (with flying and haste)

my white/artifact deck regularly sends volley's of two 500/500 gemini engines with lifelink (all the damage they do I gain as life, even if you chump block with a 1/1 I get 500 hp) at poor unsuspecting sods.

tweaked it more, did 230 damage per person (playing against sister and brother in law) and that was with four non land permanants on the field (rhys the redeemed, hissing iguanar, presence of gond, vicious shadows) and eight mana.


brother in law thought it would be cute to kill off all of my token creatures before he realized I had vicious shadows on the field
