Every one in the united states who is able to,would be required to grow at least one weed plant by law.
All that would probably do is flood the market with schwag, only about 15% of people smoke on any kind of quasi basis
Have you seem some of the shit posted in the growing section? Some of these people have no idea what they are doing but they just throw a seed in soil and think it will magically turn into Sour Diesel X Super Silver Haze X Cheese in a matter of minutes. The last thing I want is some dumbass 14 year old trying to sell me his homegrown shit that was cut 3 weeks early and never dried or cured.
They dont have to sell it they just have to own it. Everyone will be required to take a class on growing weed in elementary school and high school.
your plan leaks like a sieve. everyone should be taught how to cook, clean, balance a checkbook, make rope, and advanced first aid. everyone should be taught how to grow food, store it and be more self sufficient. learning to grow weed specifically is stupid, a class on herbs is more worthwhile, it is an herb after all. in a broad class about herbs you'd learn about drying herbs, what parts are viable as medicines or flavorings, and you'd have more knowledge of what is or is not safe. if you know how to make cordage then growing weed is worthwhile, no matter male or female, because you can use the fibers to make other things. i think there are more important things than forced specialization in weed. then again, i am a generalist, not a specialist. being a specialist could screw you in a survival situation.
You familiar with the Heinlein quote? "A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects! "
i was not familiar with that, but give me 15 minutes and i will be. that sounds like my new favorite quote. i like this one too Delusions are often functional. A mother's opinions about her children's beauty, intelligence, goodness, et cetera ad nauseam, keep her from drowning them at birth.
we'll put telescreens in everyones house so that we can constantly monitor the progress of their plant... anyone who doesn't put enough love or care into their plant will be disposed of immediately. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. Big Brother is watching YOU!
