If Hipforums were a deserted island...

What would your job/contribution to our little society be?

I guess my expertise are mostly knowledge-based: organization, leadership, politics, law, medicine, language, certain music genres. So, I could pass this knowledge on.

My skills include: measuring things without scales, animal medicine, plant identification, permaculture, animal husbandry, pharmaceuticals, telling people what to do and makign them listen to me...I also have a lot of random survival tactics.

 

Survival things. i watch a lot of survivorman

 

I would be the queen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

but, after the society was established i assume we wouldn't need to employ new survival tactics all of the time.
what else will you contribute, or will we sacrifice you to the hipforum island gods?

 

There will be no democracy, I will make the "who's for the chop" decisions!

 

i would form la resistance for all who oppose the island gods

 

I'd travel the island gathering up all the sick and injured animals so that you can nurse them back to health.

 

Then we can fatten them up, cook, and eat them.

 

y'all are useless! who's building our homes, mess hall, hospital, etc? who's gathering food or farming?

 

I will be the guy who makes the tea.

 

Nothing. I'd be the guy who lays on the beach all day watching the sun set and the waves.


Well, I guess I could be the designated procreator considering we'd probably want our society to grow and flourish. It would be a tough job, but I'd be up for it. I'd be willing to do the ladies of our society the favour.

 

the way things look now..we wouldn't last one week on that island.

Well I'd be a guerilla rebel leader sturring up a revolution against who evers in charge. Place some shadow puppet onto the seat of power after the exicutions... then start the whole process up again if I feel the need.

wtf? how can you people stage a rebellion or lay on the beach all day when we haven't even covered how we'll supply ourselves with food, shelter, clothing, clean water etc.??!!

 

I can cook, and make clothing. I don't want this to be a naked island.

I am also good at fixing things up when the proper tools are unavailable. Maguyver ftw.

Because, it's basic instinct to just be.

When we're hungry, we'll get food.

If someone wants to be clothed, they can find coverings.

If it's cold, we can build a fire and a shelter.

 

That's exactly why we're rebeling. Down with the tyrants! Living high on the hog and dictating law on us, only asking what we can give inbetween barked orders!
