IF a federal law is passed that requires all companys do random drug testing and all detox products are pulled from the shelf, whats your back up plan?
Just thought this was a good question to consider.

A bill like that could never make it...it's hard enough to keep Americans in jobs as it is. ;)

the public is going to start pushing back against the corporation owned government we see today. I don't know how far it will go tho' as most "americans" are kept too stupid with useless distractions (tv, sports, NASCAR, alcohol, cosmetics, gossip, consumerism, etc.) and what is falsely called the "News." (aka: propoganda) this is all old. it's been done in different ways for thousands of years:

    The few control the many!

But they do not have the power that the masses have! And they do not have the best interests of us in heart. If the public fully understood the role they (we) play there would then be an outrage and revolution. We would not stand for our country being used to commit terrorism. Oh yes, the USA is perhaps the leading terrorist organisation world-wide!

my father, ironically a Bush-supporter, told me when I was very young to never believe anything I hear and to only believe half of what I see. very ironic.

Interesting concept, but the result would be a crippling effect on the economy. There certainly was a movement throughout the late 80's to mid 90's that more and more companies were screening applicants for drug use because their insurers gave them a discount for doing so figuring a more sober work force would result in few workman's comp claims. That trend (at least in the service sector) is reversing though due to lack of applicants and being understaffed because of it.

As for a back up plan? Heh, the most logical choice I guess would be to become a drug dealer or work some other black market or under the table job if you don't want to give up your herb or whatever it is you fancy.

I am told that niacin is very effective in cleaning out your system in a short period of time.

here's what you would need to know about niacin: it is a B-vitamin called nicotinic acid. it can help to quit nicotine which is an analogue of nicotinic acid, or the vitamin called niacin.

be aware that niacin can be powerfully cleansing and can cause heat flashes, skin irritations, nausea and cramping. all of these symptoms can be removed by drinking copious amounts of water. this really cleans you out!

goldenseal is supposed to keep the residue from accumulating.

personally, I haven't had need to test this but I know some who have used these methods with success! it works. you do need to give yourself adequate time.

Actually, the only way vitamin B helps with a drug test is to color the urine if you try to dilute it...however, if the urine's too diluted you'll fail the test anyway; and I believe Goldenseal is commonly tested for nowadays.

I remember someone posting an article in the Politics or America Attacks! forum stating that the US was actually the 19th least corrupt government on the planet. Obviously I don't agree with American politics, but hey, we could have blown all our money on dead-end nuclear weapons programs or serve execution by firing squad on foreigners caught with a little grass. ;)

As far as passing a test goes, just grab some QuikTabs or Cleanse Blends tea from GNC or your mom'n'pops herb shop...generally similar solutions take about an hour to start working and will cover you for about 8 hours (one work day), but such products could prove to be rather expensive if used on a daily basis...

That sort of legislation would only be passed in a time like the present, but as we'll all see soon enough, this age of neo-conservative crusades is soon to pither out as more and more people begin to become bored with the current situation. As soon as people collectively realize that their governing body is infringing on their individual pursuit of happiness only to gain the favor of one particular group of people, history has always shown that such eras are ended by a rise in liberal thought and personal expression. In other words, strap on your boots and get ready for this stagnant situation to be abruptly met with a cultural backlash from the governing way of thought. I'd say that just as Clinton saw the end of a rather liberal, progressive age when his time ran up, so shall Bush put the final nails in the coffin of the asinine neo-conservative epoch. Music won't suck anymore (for a little while), and art will become a more popular topic of discussion. I'd bet money that we'll have a lot of parrallels(sp?) with the literary period of Thoreau and Frost. This is only if we're lucky, however.

Besides, so many people use drugs that the economy would collapse even further, and prescription drug sales would rise to a level that would nullify the purpose of making the original drugs that the simulate illegal. Although that would be a smart way for the government to get their hands on the revenue that prescription drug sales would produce, I honestly don't believe that people would drop their old illegal drugs for shiny new "legal drugs" for a number of different reasons. Number one, the majority of people out there don't find the same satisfaction in legal drugs as they get out of illegal drugs. Number two, the populus would be so enraged by that type of control that the outlaw drug manufacturers would gain tremendous support by guerrilla users who would, in turn, take drugs and fuck shit up beyond belief and in a big bad way. Number three: the bottom line is that with the level of information hitting the average curious teenager, via the internet, school communication, and other methods that people gain knowledge from, there has been an unobserved and unrecognized inquiry into how to produce and sell drugs under the scrupulation of various government task forces. The average highschooler already "knows" that carrying more than an ounce of pot is a minimum 5 year - felony offense in many states, but that doesn't discourage them from buying an eighth or a quarter from their friend who's been growing pot in a run-down house with good lighting on the back porch.

What I'm saying is that with all of the kids out there interested in manufacturing drugs, in combination with their high-tech compatibility and the disposition most people feel towards the conservative reich, I'd honestly be surprised if drugs don't spread like wildfire in the next 4-5 years. People are pissed off and protesting drug laws like no other time in history other than the prohibition holocaust, and we all saw what government control of our happy juice did for the mafia and for other various organized crime families. It's never met with a smile and a handshake, and this is about as much tolerance as I think we are going to have as a nation... so quit asking stupid questions about things that won't happen unless someone really wants to see the fall of the nation in a matter of days. That would be all that would happen, and then we'd all have a 2-week 8-ball binge and start burning witches again... It'd be like 28 days later, only the victims would be the law enforcement officials who busted the majority. There's your answer, and I'd bet all my pubes it's the truth!

Who the hell are you to deem what people do with their free time as useless? You must just know what's good and useful to everybody else I guess.
