I have this cactus that i bought from home depot. I was wondering if it is san pedro but i can't exactly tell. it is bluish green, has 6 ribs, but the spikes are a little longer then the spikes on most san pedro cactuses i see on the net. Also this cactus seems to be growing alot slower then you would expect then again it resides in my sunroom so maybe it's not getting enough light to grow real big. any ideas of what this type of cactus this might be?

A picture would help. If it says trichocereus pachanoi the side of the original planter labeled as a sticker you purchased it in then I would say that more than likely it is a San Pedro cactus.I get mine from the Home Depot as well. They have never made a mistake reguarding this paticular purchase. They order their plants from a with the labels on them.Like any individual organism in nature no two are a like with the exceptions of clones and identical twins, triplets ect.So do not not be dismayed if your cactus looks different than some of the ones you seen on the net.A lot of the pictures are of very nice looking examples. Here's peyote grafted to the top of a San Pedro.
    Peace
