So how do you guys like your ice tea? Me personally, I make it from powdered form and try to make it dark and strong, like Guinness. I know doing this is shaving years off my life, but I don't care, really.
I'll tell what I don't like with my Ice-T. Some 85 year old woman from South Carolina who just got off a bus to look at the leaves bitchin about why us yankees don't have the proper sweet tea. lol
It goes beyond that. Up here, you kindly point out to them that ma'am we only serve unsweatened tea, but there is plenty of sugar on the table available to use. and apparently they can't be bothered and usually ask for a lemonade instead. odd
i've seen people like that...freaking wierdos...how fucking hard is it to lift up and open a sugar packet for yourself? fucking wierdos...
But there is a good explanation! Well maybe not good, but I can explain... Apparently the sugar dissolves better in hot tea, and then you put ice in it, and you have proper southern way too fucking sweet tea...
Probably for the best.... Better watch out though, wouldn't surprise me at all if they started adding extra sugar to coke....
Here in the Stix, 90% of the tea is unsweetened. Times aren't that Great - places are attempting to save $$$.
I like ice tea, green tea, chai tea. I like lemon in ice tea, plain green tea, and chai tea hot or cold.
