    does anyone listen to Ian Tyson, or Ian & Sylvia here? they were the ones who wrote/sung the original "Four Strong Winds"

    Sure, I listen to Ian. Still have some albums. He penned FourStrong Winds and Summer Wages. Is Oilberta near Barrhead?

    haha, well i am in that area sort of [oilberta is alberta--the oil is cause we are swimming in it...i got that off of CBC] I live just a hair north east of Edmonton

    yeah, Ian is great-IMO Cowboyography is his best solo album [at least that I've heard] with I Outgre the Wagon as a slose second. Springtime has to be my all time favorite song

    I travel to Barrhead ocassionally to visit relatives. I'm sure I saw a sign with that title up there somewhere. Myself, I live in Millwoods.
