That's horrible, but what do expect of Procter & Gamble! IAMS is crappy food anyway. Nutro or Wysong is much better and not full of crappy preservatives.

If PETA isn't exaggerating this, it is sad. BUT for the companies which do not "test" on animals. how do they get thier information? How do they do food formulation? Do they use the research from companies which DO test on animals, yet duck the actual "responsibility" of doing so themselves by simply riding on someone else's research?

I don't want my puppy to have growth or development problems, how can dog food research be done without using dogs?

    I need to know.

They conduct tries on companion animals within their home enviroment (which probably produces more accurate results) or those in vets.

Got that handy tibit from PETA too.

How is your puppy anyway? I remember you posting about him a while ago.

Sweetness is doing great. He is now almost 30 lbs and is almost 4 months old. We got him at 8 weeks and he was 15 lbs. He is really great at learning his commands, and loves his training sessions. He has learned "Sit" "Stay" "Paw" "Speak" and the most important "Down." He also knows "come here"
"Off" and "Drop it!" (Always important with a puppy, there are so many things they put in their mouths which are not good for them.)

He is SOOOOOOOOOO cute. He is starting to howl (he's a Malamute and they do a lot of howling and making very cute noises) he is learning "Outside Potty" well. (Although we did have to throw out the living room rug.)

He is my dd Sage's best buddy. He adores her. As well as the rest of the kids and myself and Bear.

He is a very welcome addition to our little home.
