I was I was a woman, a pretty one too. I would have it way easier in P.E., be able to wear a dress, be smarter, have better smell, be more creative, be more resistant to dysorders and diseases, have more fun masturbating and having sex, be able to make people things without having my sexuality questioned, be a lesbian, be better with computers, be more creative, be more optimistic, be happier, have 12 friends who I would be calling right now instead of talking to you all, not get addicted to lame video games, expose my legs without people cringing, shave my legs without having my sexuality questioned, be more self-consicious, enjoy going to stores, be able to find shoes I want in my size, be more organized, do better on school work (due to better oganization, creativity, and handwritting), have boobs, be able to masturbate often without pain, be thought of by society as some things, not be drafted, be able to grow long hair and still look presentable, vollyball, not stink as much, be more of a feminist, not care that mens issues is dead, use viborators, not be colorblind, not have a learning disorder, and many many other things I can't think of right now.
this post would probably be fabulous if you didn't have to specify that you would be pretty. being female automatically makes you smarter, since when? use more products, you mean most people I know how are really brilliant with computers are male. girls still get addicted to video games people still cringe, unless you have "perfect" legs some to the point where they can't function, or all they focus on how they portray themselves, where that self-consciousness is overwhemling never being able to find your size in clothes, or in shoes still. It's no better as a woman when it comes to shopping. us gals get pain from friction too you still can, with a lot of fun and how does being female make it impossible for you to be colour blind or have a learning disorder? I mean, it's great that you want to experience life from a female perspective, but it sounds like a lot of your problems/complaints aren't based on gender, more on not being in a good place in your life right now.
True, there are some disorders and diseases that women don't generally have to worry about -- prostate cancer being the one that pops into my head first. But women have just as many, tho different, problems to worry about that men don't have to. I know plenty of women who have never had an orgasm. This is all in the approach, not in one's physical sex (as in male/female, gender is a cultural construct that does not necessarily have anything to do with one's sex). Sounds like you're just hanging out with the wrong crowd. What?!?!?!?!? Again, what?!?!?!? I've known more clinically depressed, painfully pessimistic women. Actually, "Women experience depression twice as often as men." (http://www.healthyplace.com/communities/depression/women.asp) Damn... I never had that... *checks* Yup, still female... Since when does being male mean you have to get addicted to, or ever even play, video games? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Dude, I wish!!!!!! OK, so you got that one.... You must not have ever spent much time around hippy chics who don't believe in deodorant... Trust me, women stink just as bad as men before the products are slathered on... And, if you're worried about your odor, what you put into your body has a noticeable effect. Vegetarians who don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, and drink lots of water smell the best.
i'd like to be a guy, wanna trade? haha kidding you guys i agree with dawn sky and ihmurria though, most of those things you mentioned you can do whether you're a man or a woman.
i wish i was a guy. i could get away with eating alot, not showering, farting in public, checking out girls, GET PAID MORE, wear a suit and tie without being looked at funny, wear jeans and a tshirt to a club or bar and still get hit on, having short hair, not have to have people look at me funny because im chubby, i could be a fucking haus! sexism isnt a factor when you are a guy. you can use powertools, pick up boxes without men trying to 'help' you, you dont get called a tease or a slut. you dont end up being the only BOY in your welding class...even at an ALL WOMENS SCHOOL. (i was the only girl in the 8 person class...) seriously...im glad you like women and are possibly trying to be sympathetic or something...but still. get over it. you definately have it easier.
LOL It sucks for either gender, but hey you got made that way for a reason. Just have to make the best of it. Or get a sex change I guess. I certainly wouldn't trade in being a girl.
I wish all that really came with being a female! Other than a few misconceptions you have, yes, being a woman is excellent.
I like being a woman. I don't see why anyone would want to change what gender they are. They should be proud of who they are.
I'm sorry I posted something in this thing instead of the other thing. Being a lady is great but pms is not.
RE: i wish i was a guy. i could get away with eating alot, not showering, farting in public, checking out girls, Sure, but you'd be prey to the same social censure as you would as a female. RE: GET PAID MORE, Women do NOT get paid more than men. And in some instances you have a much better chance at getting into success as a woman - e.g. medical schools, law schools will look to fill "quotas" and you have a 13x more chance of being executive level (in the 30 - 35 and under bracket) than males. Women overall get paid less than men - but because they take different jobs. Or quit to have a baby. Then another. RE: wear a suit and tie without being looked at funny, wear jeans and a tshirt to a club or bar and still get hit on, Only if you're Brad Pitt to the second. RE: having short hair, not have to have people look at me funny because im chubby, i could be a fucking haus! sexism isnt a factor when you are a guy. you can use powertools, pick up boxes without men trying to 'help' you, you dont get called a tease or a slut. you dont end up being the only BOY in your welding class...even at an ALL WOMENS SCHOOL. (i was the only girl in the 8 person class...) seriously...im glad you like women and are possibly trying to be sympathetic or something...but still. get over it. you definately have it easier. I respectfully disagree. But then again the real problem is we look at the idealised conditions on the other side of the fence. "Ooo, I would have LOVED to live in the Victorian period" means "ooo, I would have loved to live in the Victorian period.... with money." Because if you were rich yeah you got the pretty gowns and the beautiful Gothic architecture. But if you were poor you were living 20 to a room for substandard starvation wages. I can easily see how one would want to be a woman. Young, pretty, long legged, self-assured, able to get passing men to change her car tires, preferential treatment at schools, etc. I can also see how one would want to be a man. Much less social rules, a gender that has much less backroom politics, relatively straightforward and uncomplicated grooming - physically stronger, physically faster, better looking than most of their female compatriots as they age (men get more rugged looking, women get wrinkly, etc) - can walk away from kids, etc. But the reality on both sides of the fence is different. The woman wanting to be a man doesn't want to be a balding, pot-bellied beast of burden any more than the man pining to be a woman wants to be a cellulite-laden single mom with really bad cramps.
I'm going to lump some things together because they go together & the ones that are reduncant or have been covered sufficiently I'll just cut out from the cut & paste - Snowdancer Also please excuse any spelling or grammer mistakes..... Now, I do hope that you are saying this like as long as you are wishing you wish you were a pretty one. On this I ask why you think girls have it easier in P.E.? If it is related to not being teased for not having the abilities to do sports or some of the activities I can say I have seen girls being harassed for not being able to do some of the things too. Well, in western society it is more difficult for a male to wear a dress or for that matter, many other things fashion wise that women can do with abandon. When it comes to true fashion freedom Women own that. They can wear anything from gruby blue jeans to a ball gown without someone questioning them. OK, so ther are the wearing what's approptiate for the occassion & the general fashion rules but face it. If you are born female you get a much larger choice when it comes to cloths. Green is spot on, as the Brits say, about this. It is getting better in general but it wasn't very long ago that men weren't supposed to show their legs. Many still feel this way actually. That goes for showing sin in general. picture this... a couple is walikng down the street. Both have on crop tops. The male is practicing fashion freedom to the point that he is wearing a matching micro mini to his partner's. They both have hair to the middle of their back & even though green didn't get into jewlery both have chandelier earrings & matching necklaces. They also have matching spike heel pumps. Is your impression of the male the same as the female's? Have you made any conclusions of his sexual preferances? Are you more concerned that his skirt may be caught in the wind than hers? How would you interact with him if he were alone? Now look at another couple. They both have blue jeans & a T-Shirt. They both have one earring & both have hair that is cut so their ears show, short bangs & just touch the nape of their neck. Both are wearing work boots. Do you have any of the same thoughts about the woman here that you did about the male before? Probably not. She can dress identical to him but he can't adopt a lot of the clothing that women wear without thinking of it much. It is a documented fact that females score better in IQ tests. Also women have a better connection between the halves of the brain. In general terms women's sweat is less unpleasant than men's You know the old "Men sweat women perspire (I have also heard glisten)" There is something to it. Also in male to female transgendered, one of the things that come from the HRT is that the oder of their sweat er I mean perspiration becomes sweeter smelling, which is a good thing since some of them cause more perspiration. So he does have a point there. Of course anyone who hasn['t had the opportunity or whatever to shower in a week or so or has other issues like health or habits that change what their perspiriation smells like or how much they do that is a different thing regardless of gender. I don't think he is right on this one. Maybe girls are more encouraged to create with sewing & crafts than boys or for that matter even taught things like sewing & cooking from their Moms but when it comes to having creativity I think that there are just as many males who are creative than females. I think this really gets back to the fashion issue. Shopping for the same drab men's clothing just isn't as exciting as finding that flippy little skirt in just your size at a good bargan is or those jeans that fit great & look sexy on you. Buying men's shoes is little better. There is such less options for men that it is boring to the point of getting these things because you have to when the old ones wear out & not often in many color or fabric choices. Do you hear of meny men being multiorgasmic? Especially as men age it takes longer to be able to have sex after an orgasim. This is one thing that a woman can do for much longer at a time. Have you ever seen the T-Shirts that say I'm a lesbian trapped in a male's body OK, so a male can never really be a lesbian. I have a good friend that is a transbian though. She had a preferance before her transition to being female & still does after her sex change. There is a large percentage of transgendered either way that end up prefering what becomes same sex relationships. Is this actually being more allowed to show emotions? Is this related to the stereotype of women having more telephone conversations or for that matter talking more in general? Females do talk much more than males together or with other people, in general terms. Two men can go through the day together without saying much more than maybe 100 words & not think anything of it. I'm not sure what you mean by this. It is very true that people expect diferent things from males than the do females & treat each differently, Is that what you are getting at? I'm not sure that is all so good. As a male you are pretty much expected to at least try to be promuscious until you are in a committed relationship. A female is called nasty things for the same behavior. Males are awarded for being agressive, showing strength females are called bitch for the same behavior. The whole being ladylike thing is something that just doesn't exist for boys or men. i.e. When I was in seventh grade I saw two girls get into an argument at recess that ended up with them exchanging slaps & hair pulling before the teachers broke them up. They were hauled in & both got spanked. Boys never got any more than have the fights broken up or maybe have to sit in the hall & write lines. I know all fights now are treated diffenently, at least around here, & anybody who fights gets suspended. I bet that girls still are less tolerated in tis behavior though. Now on that agression, anger, & violence is something that men should do less anyhow. Go ahead & be more female. It'll be good for you. I don't even get this. Do only females play vollyball where you are at? Well, go ahead & be more feminist, you silly boy. Are they? I'm not sure about that either. You just use them differently I think I read that more men are colorblind than women. I have a Daughter who has Asperger's Syndrome Her's is worse that my Son's was.
RE: I think I read that more men are colorblind than women. Men, even with color vision, see at best thousands of colors. Women see millions. That's why when you say "you really think those two items of clothing GO together?" we're like "yeah, they're the same colour!"
do u still want to be one of us after reading this post, i can make u into a woman, wait till im pissed of and let me do what i want with no - no instruments required
