I'm glad that you decided to avoid the uselessness of North America.

I gotta go to class, but I'll make sure to write a good response to this a tad later today.

Maybe it is not useless for poor Jews who need an education, but it is useless for tourists and travellers.

if you can make it, go to noel kempff mercado national park, in the northwestern corner of Bolivia. its AMAZING. capybara, jaguars, tons of birds, caymen, etcetc... beautiful waterfalls, a giant mesa... and barely ANY people. I think only about 400 people make it there a year, because it is so secluded. Its like 100$ to fly in by bush plane.. or i think you might be able to "drive" in..

Okay great tip, thanks. Can you camp out there and go your own way or do you need to be on a 'tour'?

i have a high school class mate whose been backpacking around south and central america for years. her pics, her experiences, looks amazing. so far as i can tell, there's very little bad to see.

bsr should just go smoke a j and tell a tree how smart he is.

they have little cabins you can camp in... there are a lot of jaguars and pumas, so the cabins have bars on them.. there were problems w/ cats getting into the camps. but yeah, you can camp. you dont need a tour guide. im not sure if they even have tour guides, its so damn remote. they might, though..
