ugh this girl makes me so mad. never heard her "music" or seen her "acting" but i friggin hate the fact that mtv basically gave her a career because she has a famous sister. my friends argue that jessica simpson is the dumbest beyotch in the universe and has no talent, but at least she earned her fame, right? more than ashley at least. and can you believe in ashley's video she wears a shirt that says "punk"? my god, screw off. i hate mtv more and more every day for promoting crappiness. just another little girl for teenagers to scream about. i can't wait until this **** disappears forever.

I was laying around not doing anything, then I flipped past MTV and I caught a glimpse of someone wearing a crooked hat. That instantly registered complete bullshit with me. It was her, feeling sorry that her boyfriend broke up with her. It was a good laugh, but I'm sick of people dumping their emotional problems on a TV show. Why can't music be music, enough with the breakups and your shit! We don't want to hear it because we can't relate, we're not rich as hell like you are!

yea she sucks asshole majorly. and on her show, she has a new boyfriend like every week. i mean, who am i to tear her apart, when i, in fact, watch her show? so...i mean....she sucks...but she's always in my face on tv, and it gets pretty annoying. she can't sing either. way to ride your sister's wave, lame ass...

 

no, it's not 'hurting me' but doesn't it piss you off that you see that crap on tv all the time and that family is getting super-rich while other bands work their asses off and play music for the simple fact that they love music, but can't get a video on mtv or a song on the radio??

 

well if they are doing it for the love of the music it shoulden matter if there song is on the radio or if there video is on mtv....

i like mtv ... it has some good shows...i ushly dont like the music there playing ...but i like some of the shows ..and i like the mtv news

i think this all comes down to a case of if u dont like it dont watch it...

and i you dont want mtv telling people what to listen to..start u own music channel and tell people what u think they should be listening to...

 

first of all, it's nearly impossible to escape it. because they influence what people want to hear on the radio, so the same bullshit songs are played over and over on the radio. secondly, people should never be told what they should listen to, but they should choose. all radio and tv needs to do is give people more options and then let them choose what they want to listen to.
