I Want to Grow a Beard, Man

it occurred to me a few days ago that i should grow a beard. not for any particular reason, just to see if i can. i've had hair on my face since i was about 11, so i think i have the ability.

who has a beard, and what advice do they have on this strange new world i seek to enter?

 

My beard is awesome. Keeps me warm in the winter.

beards can be sick pending the guy, but i think if yuo are 15, yuo should wait a bit...that is just my honest opinion young guys with beards...there is just something a bit off about it...but do what you want, for it is yuor body...no matter what though when you are older...beards on some guys are sexy as hell!

I grew a beard from jan 1st until about a month ago when I shaved it all off. I miss it. I am growing it back but more tame. One problem a lot of people have is that, in the beginning, it looks rough and patchy. That makes some people want to shave it. But once you move past that stage, its smooth sailing.

I am 40 years old and I have tried to grow a beard three times. Every time it comes in patchy and just does not look good. I have not tried in the past three or four years but at this point, what is the point. I don't even have to shave every day, even now. I shaved yesterday from a three or four days of growth, it was scruffy at best. I did not shave today and I don't think I will tomorrow either. I will have to on Thursday. So, at best I shave twice to three times a week. Depending.

 

Thats what happens to me, it comes in patchy as all hell. It comes in nice and even on the cheeks, then down on the right side of my chin its thicker than the left side of my chin, and nothing grows in the middle. On my neckbeard, everything grows, except one spot directly in the middle. I hope that problem fixes itself.

I don't think you'll be able to grow a good beard at 15, but that's just my guess, maybe at 17-18. Either way though beards look crappy until they're like 2 weeks in, I'd say do what my friend did back in high school, wait for the time you get 10 days out of school suspension and use the 2 weeks away from everyone to grow awesome facial hair.

Personally I say just grow a chinbeard though, let those hairs get all long then you can spend endless hours stroking it without even realizing it, everyone around you will assume you're in deep thought.

 

I have a buddy who's my age but he can grow a beard and mustache. It's weird because he doesn't look that older than us. He just has a goatee sometimes.

 

im 17 and just starting to have to shave every 3-4 days cus its starting to get longer, darker and more visible. i think this school year at some point ill be able to have a chin strap..but im just gonna have a nice little patch of hair on my chin and shave my head so i look like a fuggin skin head lol

I get sandpaper face like 3 hours after shaving.
