I quit a two pack a day habit 20 years ago this month. Hardest thing I've ever done, best thing I've ever done.

Yeah my pens looked horrible after I quit smoking. I constantly had something in my mouth chewing on it. I also inhaled as much second-hand smoke as possible.

I had to sleep 20 hours a day to quit, and I'd be dreaming of smoking the whole time. Trouble is I had a 5 credit calculus course at 8 o'clock in the morning, and I could not get up that early without the hopes of that morning cigarette. :$

im tellin ya i was exactly the same way
but these homeopathics im using make it the easiest thing in the world to do
they take away all cravings all withdrawal symptoms all the nervouse tension and the hardest part to deal with is the weird feeling from being able to breathe and getting all that crap out ..
stuff works so good i almost forgot to take the second dose today

I resolved to quit during an acid trip. I had this nasty tar taste in my throat and recoiled at smelling my fingers, so I flicked the butt and said never again.

1st cig of the dauy is the hardest to give up
thats why to quite its best to start 1st thing in the morning...brealk that habbit and the rest is easier

i dunno i dont think i hadthe oral fixation cause i havent been chewing anything or havin anything in muy mouth all the time

i quite..started taking the homeopathics..was doing so well that the 1st 2 days id smoke 1 at midnight not cause i craved oit or even wanted it but was like a celebration..which i regretted instantly..lol
day 3 tryin was 1st day i didnt smoke any at all (had none left to smoke) and havent had any probs at all

feels lil weitrd breathing though..lol and when i take a real deep breathe everytime i cough up a lil crap thats loosening up

well i do have some rollin tobaco here,m but no desire to smoke it..
i bought more then i needed thinkin id need more then suggested, but so far think i wont so if u want i can send ya some if u wannatry it out
but its cheap u can prolly find it round the same price as a pack of cigs

The morning cigarette wasn't as powerful as the after eating cigarette. That's one of the main reasons I go without food. If I don't eat I don't have as strong of an urge to smoke.

Whatever you do Penny, don't smoke.

Shout at a random stranger, exercise, masturbate, whatever you have to do to get you through this period of weakness. 5 days is pretty good. Keep going.

And after sex, and leaving the train, and after the gyro, and finishing that assignment, and after that brew, and after not being able to hook up with that girl, and on and on.
