But I'm afraid it might become one of my little deals that I try out for a little while then drop - I'm thinking of using all my grad/birthday money to buy a bike that I can ride around for a bit and then take down to COMO for college
I have been wanting a bike for a long time, now. I loooove riding bikes. It definitely be worth it to get a bike and take it to college. You can ride it to class and stuff
I want a bike but I figure why spend the money when I have a longboard. They do get you places quicker though.
I'd looooove to get a motorcycle. I was looking at an old 1979 Kawasaki for 250 bucks. Decent 300cc engine - only thing wrong was it needed a new 100 dollar carburetor. But no, if I got a bike I'd kill myself in a minute - I'd be having way too much fun. Word, the thing is - I want a BMX bike and I'm not so sure how they fare with commuting. Though Mizzou isn't a HUGE campus and I do have my sister with a car down there (and bus and legs), I kind of worry whether it will be practical. I guess it's better than nothing and if I really get into riding then it gives me something to do.
look into its practicality perhaps it will be more useful than you might think, i mean idk im lol man i love motorcycles, but before my dad will let me do anything with his i have to take some classes...and i dont have the money for it now...so riding on the back will have to suffice for now
bmx bikes can be a mad pain in the ass when actually just trying to ride around from point a to point b aside from that, bikes are awesome, I love riding mine
Suppose so. I just hope I don't dump the money into it and lose interest. I guess having the practicality of having it as transportation will keep me into it. Plus I have been getting into graffiti very very slowly and having a bike helps me get to and out of places to practice quickly and quietly.
I feel like I forgot to ride a bike.haha.I hadn't rode one for years until fall.It was my friend's bmx bike, but I think it was just the way the seat was placed.I could barely bend my legs properly.
Yeah I'm finding most bike setups have a slammed seat - I guess that's what's "cool" now I'd probably raise it higher than what most of em are at.
http://www.dkbicycles.com/completes.html?completes/09/street/ordinate/main.html I really like this one, but I don't know about the 19.5" top tube - I'm gonna have to go to a bike shop and ride some. ...I think I just like the color lol
I have two bikes. Mountain bikes are obviously faster and that's why I use mine for getting places. My bmx kind of bike looks cool but it's not as fast as a mountain bike so I only ride it to go to my friends house or something. And if you ever get a motorcycle get a real bike, Harley all the way
If your getting a bike like that your calf muscles are going to hate you. ...Then they will love you in two months when your legs are the size of a tree. Because thats the workout your gonna get with that bike lol. You would look cool as hell on it though. :cheers2:
