i wanna do a project swap!!

Heya all
Well i wanna do a project swap with someone. Like something where we give each other some key words (like summer, purple, mushroom, growing) our body sizes and see what each other come up with then send it to each other.
I just came up with the idea but i'd really like to give it a go

it can be anything really, clothes, accesories, paintings even if you want (but if you want to make it so its only something that can be worn then thats cool)

if one person decides to do a bracelet but the other makes a whole dress then i think they bracelet person should do like.. matching necklace and soleless sandle too just to make it a bit fair.

But would anyone be up for doing this with me??

I love how you're being so petty about the difference between a dress and a necklace.

I can go to the thrift store and get a dress for 5 bucks, or go to Macy's in New York and get a relatively similar dress for 500 dollars.

I can pick up a necklace at the dollar store for a dollar. But I can go to some Hemp shop and pay 20 bucks for the same thing...

The value of things is so relative.

The reason I was interested in the swap box was because I wondered what people would think of whatever I put in... not if I'd make money or break even from the deal

 

well pay atention to the cost of materias and time it takes to make then

 

i see where fleassy is coming from, if you spend a lot of time making a dress for you and you spend 20 minutes making a hemp braclet it realy doesn't seem fair.

 

I spend close to 2 hours maybe even 3 on a pair of soleless sandals...I put quite a bit of detail into my hemp pieces!

exactly, thats why i said make a SET of things rather than just one item.

I wasnt saying that value was anything.

What i mean is if someone has spend days on creating a dress which fits just right for someone and yet someone else just knocks up a platted bracelet 3 minuites before posting.. theres an obvious difference.

Something that is beauitfuly crafted with love and attention is obviously so be if hippyfreaks hemp, rah's clothes or arlia's paintins.



Well like i was saying i would totally love to do this with someone.... however if you are in america then it might be a set back cos of postage however i would be willing to do it over seas because i know i would be getting something well worth a postage cost

so let me know.

Arlia as you and i are so close to each other postage would be super cheap so i'll do something with you if you can spare the time. *huggles*
