Interesting thread, I kind of know what you mean but I'm unsure I could locate a point where my thinking became that way.
Do you use any other drugs, smoke weed maybe?

Yes, don't worry your not alone. A while back (last spring) I bought a bunch of pure JWH-018 online (the stuff that used to be in K2). Well it totally FUCKED ME UP, like not even in the good way. I had fuckin superpowers. But I also saw the world in that cold, mechanical way for a long time, I thought my soul was dead and I was just living a hollow life.

So I wouldn't even like thinkin about jdub during that time because it would give me anxiety, though it slowly got better over time. Then, I happened to find myself in a situation where I was taking a mad ton of cid and shrooms, and that totally helped me overcome any negative aftereffects I had. Im back to normal now, well not really because I feel even better, new and improved.

Now Im not sayin you need to get dosed to come around and get over it. You just gotta realize in your mind that its sort of like a placebo effect, why 2cbs still affecting you. Its the belief in the thought that, "oh my god im so fucked up, etc" that makes it a reality: once you can feel, not just say but feel, that yea Im okay and everythings happened for a reason, I think that in that moment you'll find yourself again. But I feel for ya, I was in that dark place too, just know there is an end to it as soon as your ready to enter that light at the end of the tunnel

sorry you feel that way, man. you should definitely talk around your friends, they are probably the ones that can help you get through this and back to "normal." explain what you mean by mechanical world. i have taken 2cE several times and it has only improved my outlook on life (given me more to talk about, and allowed me to better see the beauty in the world)

Porkstock- Well when I was on the 2cp everything seemed real deep and dark if that makes since. It wasnt a good trip at all. I had the most mindblowing visuals that kinda just burnt into my head along with my weird thoughts and I would come up with theorys that I couldnt ever explain. Its to hard to explain exactly what I mean just because I dont know the words to use.

yeah, i've read that 2ce and 2cp can be dark trips...but you need to just realize you were only tripping. you don't need to explain the theories you had because you were tripping. don't dwell on it. i mean, if you can learn something from a trip, great. but if it was a bad experience, no need to dwell on it. you made it through. you're ALIVE. maybe don't take 2cp again. did you do a high dose?

JWH has horrible personality destroying charicteristics, but most people don't talk about it because they become zombies for JWH and it BECOMES their personality after a while.... Please don't compare it to psychedelics.

I see the world as mechanical, and always have... psychedelics made me more.... me.... and sort of healed me from some JWH damage, which had made me sort of empty.

The world is mechanical, in beautiful intricate ways, which inherently makes me happy and fascinated....

i would say that the world/universe is more of an intricate fractal than a machine

Sorry to hear you have been having a tough time.

First, you should consider working out if you don't already. The endorphins are extremely nice, and I find a good workout to be very therapeutic and stimulating. It may/should help the feeling of emptiness you are experiencing.

Now, in regards to your mental state, existence and awareness are strange and interesting concepts. The world is mechanical, chaotic, mechanically chaotic, chaotically mechanical, an illusion, a test, a dream of some god in some alternate dimension, the result of an equation on some bad-ass TI-83 calculator, the pathway to another reality, a computer simulation, etc. There are many interesting ideas and perspectives out there, some of them are more comforting than others. Try to use your imagination, break free from one set idea, such as life being mechanical, and mingle with the rest.

And really, what makes the world being mechanical a bad thing? The complexity of the mechanics is fascinating. You are but a bag of particles governed by math and the laws of physics. Pretty fucking cool if you ask me.

Anyways, hope you feel better. :Mr-T:

Sometimes when it is hard to integrate a trip this happens. You need chill out and stay away from psyches until you can understand what your mind is trying to tell you. Just listen and don't fight it. Your not broken, just lost and confused. I have seen too many posts like this.

Let me ask you something... why did you do the 2C-P? How much experience did you have with psychedelics prior to this trip? How many trips did you have after this trip? How often did/do you trip?

There is your answer to why you feel the way you do. Doing psychedelics opens the door and once that door is open it never closes all the way. Don't fight it. Do some reading about psychedelics and find your place. You will be fine. I just wish you would have done all the research BEFORE you decided to take 2C-P. But shit happens.

It sounds like you're suffering from depression. Its possible that the trip opened your mind up in a way that made it easier for you to succomb to depression.

I understand what you mean by the mechanical thing. I stopped believing in God during a trip. It didn't make me neccessarily view the world as mechanical, but something similiar that I can't really explain..but I had a hard time dealing with that for a while. I went into the trip a spiritual person and I came out feeling a little empty.

I recommend getting in touch with nature. That may sound stupid but I think that nature is the most powerful tool to fight that mechanical feeling and to fight emptiness. Its easy to get caught up in that empty feeling when you're surrounded by the emptiness of society. There is something about modern civilization that strikes me as not quite real, if that makes any sense. Nature has a way of reminding you that some things in this world are tangible and real and will always exist.

You were unprepared for a psychedelic experience. You were not in a comfortable setting. These are grounds for a disastrous trip especially on something as powerful as 2C-P. How did you get the 2C-P anyway? Your friends had it?

You also ended up in the hospital on that trip if I recall correctly, so that may be somewhat traumatizing while on psychedelics, take it easy with psychedelics. Work out, find a hobby or something to keep your mind occupied for awhile.

Let me take a stab in the dark and say that the group of friends that introduced you to this chemical originally was into synthetic cannabinoids or cathinones and ran into it online via another board unaware of what it really was or it's potential and gave it to you on a whim to 'trip out' at the party? Is this somewhat accurate?
