    I like the Lips early stuff a lot better. They sound like a compelet differnt band on their first 3 albums.

    The test begins....Now, thud, thud, thud, chchche boom, ch, che boom, ch etc. Fucking excellent! Then, once you've danced your tits off to that, it's so chill for the rest of the album, if I remember right.

    That track when there's just screaming and a descending beat, I usually skip that.

    It's all a cool lively/mellow mix. You can dance or chill as it takes you.

    Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is definitely an excellent album. I don't see how anyone could not like it...

    You said it. I play it on my acoustic all the time. :D

    Since we're on the subject; can anyone recommend anything similar ie uplifting and happy yet relaxing and cool. I would recommend Faded Seaside Glamour by the Delays to lovers of YBTPR, but it's not as energetic, no substantial base to really get the heart pumping. Still a very good album though. The chilled out energy in Yoshimi I think will be hard to match.
