I think I am afraid of commitment

Well I am almost sure I am, but I don't want to be. My mind always analizes petty things on how to get out of this love thats forming. I mean we get on great together, she is the greatest girl I know, but still my some part of my mind is trying to back out. Its happened before and it ust hit me "I am afraid of commitment". So what now??

 

Oh, uhm, well... that´s what I´m asking myself either.....

thanks for the hard love Annie. But I kind of already had that plan in mind. How to go about that plan is a different idea.

 

not sure this helps, cuz im kinda in your boat, but like i have a friend that im realy close with and its realy kool cuz we arnt like fuck buddies but we dont want the dating lable cuz then stuff gets weird and people make it harder to keep what her and i have.

so we decided that we wont date and just let people say what they want, REMEMBER
LOVE DOES NOT CHANGE WITH A TITLE.

 

There must be a reason you are feeling like this. I don't know your life story so I can't really comment. So you may have to do a bit of soul searching. Is there anything in your past that is holding you back? I find it difficult to be affectionate towards people because my mother was quite cold in that department. I love it when people are affectionate towards me. A lot of your past does have implications on how you act towards people in the future. Sometimes it is best to try and bury the bones of the past and move towards a person who you really are. There is a bonus in becoming your true self. Your self confidence will go through the roof.

Just remember to look inward to what you really want in a relationship and work from that. That is the best start I find.

Er my family has fallen apart. Many of my close friends have drifted away from me. Thats the only reasons I can think of. These thoughts ahve happened to me many times before but I just recentyl clued in to what it was.

 

I think i'm afraid of commitment too. I guess we'll just have to face our fears.
