In the Summer, I've seen humidity/skeeters just as bad up North as we have here...*g*

One nice thing is we have almost ample air conditioning to cope w/the annual summer heat waves unlike the Mid West/NE coast.

 

what about your air conditioning is better then here?

 

I grew up in the south, with the humidity. We called them the 'hunderd-hunderd' days -- 100 deg. F & 100%(ok, 96%) humidity.

I don't know why people live there, they just DO. The bod has a way of aclimatizing (is that a word?)

 

dont think it's a word, haha. but i make up my own words all the time. i dont know where my ideal place to live in the states would be... i do know that i am VERY accustomed to the ocean... and dont wanna live more then four hours from it. im really thinking delaware or north carolina near the coast. not that exciting, i know. but i dont need excitment, just my own personal havon.

 

Based on what I've felt/read each year in the news, yall just don't have enough of it...

i dont know, im pretty poor and we have good A.C. but i dont know about every where.
