Once upon a time I ingested two magical mushrooms before my guide and I ventured outdoors. To the sea, went we.

Seagulls were standing on rocks basking in the sunshine while allowing the wind to blow beneath their wings. Occasionally one or two would tip their wings just enough to allow themselves to hover over the rock for a moment before setting down again.

The light of the sun reflecting off the tranquil water warmed me as I stood upon a rock with my arms stretched out and my eyes closed repeating my mantra, "Trust love." I was not at all alarmed when my arms grew the finest feathers I had ever seen. As my feet became talons gripping the stone confidently, I allowed the wind to blow beneath my eagle wings.

Like the seagulls, I tipped my wings and hovered over the rock for a moment before touching down. I did this several times allowing myself to learn what it meant to be an eagle. But the next time instead of just hovering, I flapped my powerful wings and took off. Each stroke taking me higher so that I could survey the land below. I was soaring up to the sun light, but instead found myself in the infinity of space.

Now as I was crossing vast distances with every stroke of my wings, I noticed how my eyes could clearly see every star shining around me.

After a time, I came to an arch that reminded me of the Arch de Triumph in Paris, but this arch was far more beautiful. Passing through this colossis that could span a city, I noticed intricately detailed artwork covering the arch. Patterns, symbols, and vines that seemed to be constantly growing and changing as if alive. Mixed in with this living art were bits and pieces of human language.

"How amazing." I thought. Then it dawned on me. It's all languages encoded as metaphors. Even the arch was a metaphor. So, I relaxed and trusted love. The arch was actually just the entrance to a magnificant cathedral-like building. I flew into a grand hall which had stained glass windows taller than skyscrapers, flooding the hall with light. An infinite number of smaller halls lead off in every direction, and I would imagine from each these there would also lead an infinite number of other halls, and so on and so on.

I flew through grecco-romanisk courtyards where I witnessed peaceful scenes of children playing, scenes of the time before man and scenes of the time after man. This led me to a great room which reminded me of a planetarium with all the stars projected on the ceiling. I touched down for a moment and found myself standing in a open field beneath the stars while listening to crickets chirping. In the distance I could see a city. I contemplated the notion that I was still inside the Great Room which not only held the earth that I stood on, but also the universe that I had flown through to reach this incredible palace. This was only one room, one universe, one possible reality among infinitely more to an exponential degree.

At this point, I decided it was time to return so I tipped my wings again and allowed the wind to lift me off the ground. I hovered for a moment or two before touching safely on my rock. Feeling the warmth of the sunshine on my face, my arms returned as my feathers dissolved away. I became a man again, but humbled by my experience.

As you should know, quantity doesn't matter. Planning, set & setting effect the experience like they do in a good poker game or a successful bank heist. My sacrament was earle, not the much less potent psylicybe. Besides, this was for educational/inspirational purposes, not the lesser important entertainment.

    Bliss on brothers and sisters.
